ADR Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator, Certified Accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (former Chair of the East Anglia Branch), university lecturer and trainer, and a member of the CIOT Dispute Resolution and Litigation working group.
David has over 30 years of experience as an accountant and tax advisor. Before setting up his mediation practice he had worked for many years, latterly as a partner in a long established East Anglian Accountancy practice. He has also been a banker and more recently was seconded to the Office of Tax Simplification working on simplifying the tax system for small companies.
As well as mediating all types of civil disputes including those with a financial or tax element, David is the principal of a niche accounting and taxation practice. One particular specialism is providing accountancy and taxation services to family-owned businesses. In addition he lectures at the University of East Anglia on its MA in Creative Entrepreneurship course.
David brings a highly accomplished skill set to ASMADR’s UK focused service and offers a combination of dispute resolution and practical experience in short and long term financial management. He has a knowledge of the UK tax system that is second to none.
Additionally, David is a churchwarden and treasurer of both the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust and the Choral Foundation of St Mary le Tower Church, Ipswich.
