Claire specialises in workplace mediation and is a trained team relationship coach. A former Director of Communications and Executive Management Board member of Siemens plc who successfully led teams through significant change in a complex matrix management structure, she has a deep understanding of team dynamics, culture and communications.
Claire has a keen interest in helping leaders and managers create aligned, engaged and motivated teams to drive productivity, innovation, and creativity. Above all, she believes that people should enjoy going to work and positive working relationships are a cornerstone of job satisfaction.
Since leaving her corporate career at the end of 2017, Claire has successfully completed a CMC accredited civil and commercial mediation training programme with Align Mediation and has been awarded an accredited diploma in workplace mediation by National Dispute Resolution. Workplace mediation is of particular interest to her as it aims to restore or improve working practices. This very much aligns with Claire’s skill in helping organisations foster good working relationships, which has been the focus of her work since becoming self-employed. Her workplace mediation skills complement her excellent team relationship coaching skills having trained in organisation and relationship systems coaching, an International Coaching Federation accredited coaching methodology.
Claire communications adviser to Jackie’s Revolution, a campaign to change the face of elderly care in the UK and the Chair of Women Leaders in Communications, a network for women in communications and public relations. She also works as a volunteer mediator for West Kent Mediation.
